Produced in Modena and Reggio Emilia since the Middle Ages, balsamic vinegar is revered by culinary professionals for its versatility and ability to transform the ‘so-so’ into a sweet and tangy ‘can’t-get-enough’. Use our balsamic glaze to add a glossy piquancy to salads, baked fish, roast meats and vegetables.
Our sauces include traditional passata and tomato purée for your own bases, and some sensational pestos from Seggiano, including: vegan Wild Fennel and Tomato Pesto, with cashews swapped for pecorino; Raw Basil Pesto Genovese, and Cavolo Nero Pesto (black kale). Pesto sauces can be used as a quick sauce for pasta and rice, or mixed with breadcrumbs as a crust for baked fish and white meat.
